Compatibility for MacBook with M-chip

Dual displays for MacBook

Several MacBook models with M-series chips lack support for dual external displays in extended mode. This limitation depends on the specific Mac model and its processor.

MacBooks only output one video signal per USB-C port, which is currently a restriction within MacOS. To overcome this, our 10-port Dual Display USB-C Hub for Mac features dual USB-C connectors.

Please refer to the following list to see how many external displays your Mac supports:

Maximum one external display:

M1 MacBook Air
M2 MacBook Air
M1 MacBook Pro 13"
M2 MacBook Pro 13"

Maximum two external displays:

M1 MacBook Pro 14"
M1 MacBook Pro 16"
M2 Pro Macbook Pro
M3 Macbook Air *
M3 Macbook Pro *
M3 Pro Macbook Pro *
M4 MacBook Air
M4 MacBook Pro
M4 Pro MacBook Pro

*Provided that the lid is closed, the MacBook is connected to a power source, and a keyboard and mouse are connected.

Also, make sure your MacBook is updated with the latest version of MacOS.
